Warning! Fan-girling content exist!

Kaichou wa Maid-sama! or The President is a Maid! It's a shoujo story. The anime consists of 26 episodes. While the 18-volumes manga was published by Hana-to-Yume (from the publisher, you should have known what kind of manga it is).

It is a story about a 16-year old girl who become the first female student council president in Seika-gakuen, Ayuzawa Misaki. The high school was once an all-boys school. However, it was renowned and was transformed into a co-ed school. Misaki was gained a reputation as a sharp-women leader.
Behind her toughness and stubbornness, Misaki secretly working as a part-timer in a Maid Cafe to support her family living. However, her secret is discovered by her schoolmate, Usui Takumi. He is the popular boy at Seika high school.

Well, a shoujo-manga reader must have known how the story will be. Yup! The romance evolve between Usui and Misaki. With her tsundere-ppoi awkward demeanor and his seme-ppoi cool attitude, this story has several of "kyaa"-tte point.

In short, for a light reading/viewing, this anime is quite good. It has a simple story. No tension. There is no phon-phon scene nor typical cry-out-loud weakling.

For the girl reader/viewer, the coolness of Usui character will successfully make you melted. Well, to be honest, this Usui is kinda creepy since his attitude would perfectly pictures a stalker. However, since he always be there in the perfect time and perfect moment, I bet all the girl-fans will be totally melted by him. Hahaha.. Yup. Yappari, Usui wa chou-kakkoi desu~ (^3^)
